A Lofty Perch Carved by Gales
Wind’s Roost crowns the High Peaks in the northern Valley of the Ancients, a lofty perch carved into the highest summit by relentless gales. Ancient platforms defy the frost, now shadowed by Umbraeth’s grip, a windswept trial for Aria’s ascent.
Sheer cliffs drop 50 meters from the High Peaks’ apex, their wind-scoured faces etched with frost and ancient glyphs. Narrow platforms jut out, lashed by howling winds, while Umbraeth’s black ichor stains the icy stone under a stormy, swirling sky.
The Ancients crafted Wind’s Roost as a shrine to the gales, a vantage against Umbraeth’s rise. Elyra’s final windsong here sealed the Gale Crest, a relic lost to the frost until Aria climbs to reclaim its power against the shadow.
Gale shrieker birds swoop through the winds, their cries piercing, while frost wraiths drift along the cliffs. Umbraeth’s windbound sentinels guard the perch, and Lyra, the Wind Warden, watches from the heights, her staff steady against the storm.
The Windspire Puzzle tasks Aria with directing gusts from the Gauntlet of Storms through three wind-carved spires, aligning their vibrations to unseal the Gale Crest, all while balancing against gale shrieker dives on the narrow perch.
The Gale Crest, a wind-etched medallion humming with power, rests in an icy nook, enhancing Aria’s wind abilities against Umbraeth’s forces. A Shrieker Feather, dropped by gale shriekers, glows faintly and boosts speed when held.
Lyra, the Wind Warden, stands resolute at Wind’s Roost, her silver eyes cutting through the storm beneath a wind-torn cloak. Her staff channels gales to fend off sentinels, guiding Aria to the Gale Crest with unyielding resolve.
